WEEKDAY BRUNCH
Who says Brunch is only on the weekends? I've always believed that brunch can be any time and any day, and luckily a lot of restaurants are now sharing that same feeling. So if you are looking for brunch on a weekday, here are the spots to check out!
1
Harold's Meat + Three

2 Renwick St
New York, NY 10013

Harold's all day brunch menu features some classic southern dishes, but also dishes with an elevated twist. You aren't finding the option to add foie gras at classic meat + three spots in the south. The menu has some brunch favorites like a breakfast sandwich, and avocado toast, but also stewed tripe, and Kentucky hot brown, both of which aren't typically found on an NYC brunch menu.

2
Jack's Wife Freda
224 Lafayette St
New York, NY 10012
(multiple locations)

Jack's Wife Freda is a cafe serving up all of our brunch favorites with Mediterranean influences. It's pretty much instagram heaven in there with the restaurant being almost as beautiful as the food, but it's the food that keeps you coming back! Make sure to order their green shakshuka, rosewater waffles, and don't leave without getting a side order of french fries!

3
Jacob's Pickles
509 Amsterdam Ave
New York, NY 10024

It's hard enough to get into Jacob's Pickles for brunch on the weekend, so its a good thing you can come in for weekday brunch as well, or we may have never had the chance to try it! And its a good thing we did, because the menu is full of over the top southern brunch specialties!

4
Delicatessen

54 Prince St
New York, NY 10012

Delicatessen is all about upscale comfort food, so it's not shocking that they have an awesome brunch menu! Lucky for us, its on the menu all day with options like strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast, avocado toast, and you can't leave without getting some mac n cheese!

5
Sweet Chick
178 Ludlow St
New York, NY 10002
(multiple locations)

Sweet Chick is best known for their chicken and waffles, but there is so much more to love about their weekday brunch menu serving up new twists on southern favorites! Yes, order the chicken and waffles, but also make sure to check out their biscuits and gravy, pulled pork sandwich, and pancakes!

6
Shopsin's
120 Essex St
New York, NY 10002

So lets get this out of the way first. Yes, you can get brunch here on the weekday, but not exactly every weekday. Like everything at Shopsin's, they have their own set of rules, including that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. BUT on the days that they are open, get ready for the biggest and most insane brunch menu that's ever existed. The menu is so big that you better do your research before going in, because they are a little impatient if you are first going through the hundreds and hundreds items available to order. But that's part of the fun of Shopsin's, along with things like mac n cheese pancakes, and doughnut sliders!
