NYC is a special place for way way way too many reasons to list here, but one of the best reasons is that you can be transported to anywhere in the world by just stepping into a restaurant.  That's how I felt as we sat down at Gentilly in the West Village, where I was transported to one of the my fav cities New Orleans!  How could you not feel like you are in New Orleans when you are eating fried oyster po' boys, fried chicken and waffles, and a burger with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato?!  I guess I only wish I could have had one more bloody mary in a to-go cup!  One day NYC!
