Tucked away at the end of Commerce st. (one of my favorite streets in NYC) is the recently opened Fifty.  When you first look at the menu it looks like your standard brunch fare, but look closer and you will see some of the most unique and delicious takes on brunch staples.  French Toast is made with a homemade babka; the burger is dry aged and smothered with sharp Vermont cheddar; and then there is the avocado toast.  Yes, every place now has some sort of avocado toast on the menu, but I've never seen it topped with spicy tuna!  Why no one has thought of this before, I'll never know!
