BEC Tacos, thats pretty much all you need to know, even though there is so much more to Empellon Taqueria! Empellon is Alex Stupak's casual, but elegant take on Mexican food, and that feeling comes across in both the ambiance and brunch menu.  But lets get back to those tacos; breakfast tacos are one of the few things that NYC doesn't seem to get right, but worry no more, these are near perfect! Thick cut braised bacon sits on top of eggs, and way more cheese than you would need, but since when is that a bad thing? What would a good Mexican brunch be without a Michelada, and this might be the best one I've ever had! Sour Orange, gives this Michelada a truly unique flavor not usually found in my favorite drink!
